My research interests have covered several topics of quantum and nonlinear optics, such as nonlinear dynamics in gas, semiconductor and solid state lasers, quantum noise in microlasers, spatial solitons, subdiffractive light pulses, quantum coherent control and femtosecond laser pulses, attoscience and high-order harmonic generation in gas and solid media. My current interests are the amplification of high-harmonic X-ray yields and the selective nonlinear excitation of molecules by coherent XFEL sources.
