Short CV

PhD in Atmospheric Physics at the Universitat of Barcelona and associate professor in the Physics Department of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
Her research activity began in 1988 in the field of Climatology with her Doctoral Thesis entitled “Estudio climatológico de la precipitación y las temperaturas en Cataluña: Análisis y mejora de las series temporales y diseño de la red de estaciones de registro”. From 2000 to 2012, her research activity moved to the field of Educational Innovation in Physics. The main objective of this research was to make contributions on innovations in the different aspects of educational itineraries, in order to achieve an improvement in the quality of teaching and learning in Physics.
Since 2012 and until now, her research activity has moved again to the field of Atmospheric Physics. He currently collaborates with the Aerobiology group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the study of atmospheric transport of aerosols and in the influence of meteorological synoptic patterns and climate change on airborne pollen levels.
