My research focuses on the study of coastal geomorphology with the aim of understanding physical processes underlying the complex dynamics of morphological changes. To do this, I have studied the formation and evolution of a wide variety of coastal morphological patterns through numerical modeling and include cusp points, bars crescents and crossings in the area of breakers or sandbanks on the continental shelf. I specialized study of the mechanisms and processes involved in the formation of these patterns, their maintenance and eventual destruction, as well as the interaction between the different patterns. I am currently completing the numerical modeling of morphology coastline with the processing of videos from coastal video monitoring stations or drones, with the aim of obtaining daily bathymetry.
