I am a Theoretical Physicist working in the fields of ultracold gases and liquids, condensed matter, atomic, nuclear and quantum many-body physics. I am extremely fascinated by such multidisciplinarity which fosters the application of general methods and theories to very different quantum many-body systems, ranging from ultracold gases to neutron stars.
I have worked on a broad range of topics such as superfluidity, non-equilibrium, equilibrium and thermodynamical phenomena, low-spatial dimensions, quantum correlations and phase transitions. I always combine diverse analytical and numerical methods, Monte-Carlo included, to get a deep physical insight into my results. My proposals are carefully designed for current state-of-the-art experiments, with a special eye to the possible future quantum technological applications.
