Thanks for taking the time to view my profile. Thourgh the years, my research interests have evolved and I have made research (at least for brief periods of time) on very diverse topics: computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of aerodynamic perfomances of cars and wind tunnels; the study of earthquake precursors and space technologies for disaster management; an innovative non-destructive testing technique; viscoelastic behavior and other mechanical properties of Al alloys (the topic of my PhD); wind resource assessment; and aircraft repair patches. More recently, my research interests have focused on OpenFOAM CFD simulation of thermally-driven winds in mountains/valleys/slopes.
