Dr. Jovana Kuljanin holds Ph.D. in Traffic and Transport Engineering from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering (UB-FTTE). In her PhD thesis she was dealing with the issue of modelling competition between airlines with different business models in the light of the introduction of new fuel-efficient aircraft types. She has a solid knowledge in air transportation planning, airline management, airline efficiency measuring, air travel demand modelling, etc. Her main research area is focused on the application of multivariate statistical analysis and econometrics in different areas of airline processes (e.g. market segmentation, traveler behaviour, boarding problem etc.). She has recently broadened her field of interest by investigating the Urban Air Mobility field as well as flight efficiency.

She joined the UPC as a Senior Researcher in February 2020 focusing her research on several SESAR and Clean Sky projects. Since September 2021, she has obtained the position of Lector.
